We engaged Berg Building to construct our new home in Forster. Ably led by Jason who we found to be easy to work with, honest, open and constructive in providing guidance along with solutions during the build.

The trades he engaged where of the highest quality with particular reference to the on-site carpenter’s and builders. They were regular, on time and diligent in their performance and the quality of their efforts shows even to lay people. The subcontractors generally speaking were outstanding including but not limited to

The tiler, gyprocker, electrician, plumber and roofer. They certainly lefty’s with a good feeling of the work that they had completed.

Berg Building allowed us to make last minute changes to the build as we came across new and exciting products, such as our decision to change from a gyprock ceiling to a timber raked ceiling in the lounge - dining area. All accounts where fully documented and backed up with copies of all invoices. From the budget which we collectively produced was very accurate when compared with the actual accounts.

Upon completion we have ended up owning a top quality four-bedroom, four-bathroom home on a very sound footing. It is a credit to all who worked on the job. The total build was handled in a totally professional manner. 

We as a family could not be happier than what was delivered on completion.

After the build was completed, we again engaged Berg Building to complete an exterior renovation on two hotels both of which are over one hundred and thirty years old. This included a new metal roof, upstairs and downstairs decks, railings and repainting of the total building. Again, we are very pleased with the end result and the effort put in by Berg Building and their employees.

I have engaged Jason and his team at Berg Constructions on three commercial projects for major renovations on hotels.  The projects involved either complete rebuilds or refurbishments, including Accommodation, Bars, Kitchens, Beer Gardens, Gaming Rooms, TABS, Audio and Video requirements and Communications racks. The individual projects entailed time frames up to 12 months for completion.

For a regional builder to deliver these projects, which require expertise across these varied skill requirements, is rare. 

It is also rare to deliver these projects on time and within the budget. 

Jason acted at all times with my interests at heart and his tradesmen delivered quality workmanship.  

Jason communicated constantly throughout the project which enabled each project to run smoothly and professionally.
